The easiest way build a searchable database with Exodus Online is to use two products from Claris Software.

• Claris HomePage 3.0 (or better)
• Clairs FileMaker Pro 4.0 (or better)

You can find both the products and information at the Claris hompage at http://www.claris.com

If you do not wish to purchase theses two products, you may also build your database through another CGI we have called WebCatalog.

Before you begin, call Exodus at (513) 522-0011 and ask for technical support. We will need to set up FTP access to our database server.

Next, you will need to build the database in FileMaker Pro. Once the database is built, you will need to create an interface for the web. Claris Homepage is necessary for that.

Building databases is not a simple task and we strongly recommend a full year of heavy web development experience before attempting to build your first on-line database.
