Exodus Software development personnel have diverse backgrounds which include
Engineering, Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, Production and Inventory
Control, as well as Computer Science.

Prior to joining Exodus Software in January 1987, Jim had been a design
engineer with General Electric and ARMCO. In addition to his administrative
duties, Jim is a software engineer and project manager with experience in
Pascal, Assembly, MacApp, 4th DIMENSION and 4D Server. In past years, he
had been responsible for critical portions of ExpressWrite, the product
upgrade to Letter Writer Plus, time critical portions of Retriever II and
the user manual for Retriever. Jim has developed real-time animation for
vibration analysis software using Assembly and MacApp.
Ed joined Exodus Software in January 1987 with a background in Sales and
Marketing. His expertise includes development using FileMaker Pro,
AppleScript, HyperCard and MitemView. Ed was responsible for the marketing
effort behind Retriever and ExpressWrite, as well as authoring of the
commercial HyperCard stacks that shipped with Retriever. MitemView projects
include front end software linking Ohio schools sponsored by Apple Computer,
and a front end to the PROFS electronic mail and scheduling system for a
Fortune 100 company.
Prior to joining Exodus Software in January 1987, David had worked as a
Production Manager and as an Inventory Control supervisor. His primary
responsibility as a project manager at Exodus has been in database
development using 4th DIMENSION, 4D Server and DAL. David began
development with 4th DIMENSION in 1987 when Exodus needed a relational
multi-user database internally to handle product support, invoicing,
inventory, and customer support. Since that time David has focused on
developing databases for Exodus clients, including Fortune 100 businesses.
David also wrote the Retriever II user manual.
Dan joined Exodus Software in June 1989 as a programmer, and has experience
developing software for mainframes and desktop computers in C, Pascal, PL/I and
Assembly. Since joining Exodus, Dan has acquired expertise in AppleScript,
First Class, Object Pascal, MacApp, C++, HyperTalk, MitemView, and 4th DIMENSION.
He has been responsible for development of portions of the ExpressWrite and
Retriever II products.
